I am a writer, researcher, investor, and strategic advisor whose work explores the relationship between human stories and emerging futures.

My career began in marketing and commercial strategy, then moved through robotics, private investment, research, and literary writing. From outside, these can look like separate pursuits. To me, they are different ways of asking the same question: what shapes the futures we believe are possible?
I’ve spent years inside technology companies and early-stage ecosystems, and studying the public narratives that shape how robots are developed, deployed, and adopted. My academic work draws on the tools of the humanities — rhetoric, narratology, ethics, and speculative futures — to examine the human consequences of physical AI.
Alongside that work, I write fiction. My current novel, shaped by field research in Indonesia, explores agency, belonging, memory, and how unsteady human love turns out to be.
Outside of work, I’m usually travelling, skiing, or scratching my elderly cat, Capone.
